What is EOSC Node Slovakia
The Slovak national entry point into the European Open Science Cloud, operated by CVTI SR as a candidate node of the EOSC Federation. Pilot MVP available at eosc.sk.
EOSC Node Slovakia is the Slovak entry point into the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). It is built and operated by the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (CVTI SR) as one of the candidate nodes of the EOSC Federation.
What the node offers today (pilot MVP)
- Landing page eosc.sk — one-stop entry point to research resources, services, use cases and the supporting tools of the node.
- Service catalogue sc.eosc.sk — production services and prototypes of the node with a public API.
- Monitoring mon.eosc.sk — availability of the node components and services.
- Helpdesk hd.eosc.sk — single point of contact for users and providers.
- Knowledge base — this site.
- Service management system according to FitSM (in preparation).
Status
The node is a pilot MVP: the building blocks above are operated as minimum viable products while the node moves towards full production and full membership in the EOSC Federation. Until then researchers can also use the EOSC EU Node .
