CVTI SR – operator of the node
The Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information operates the node and is the EOSC-A mandated organisation and national coordinator of open science.
CVTI SR (Centrum vedecko-technických informácií SR) is Slovakia's national information centre for science, technology, innovation and education, founded in 1938 and a subsidiary organisation of the Ministry of Education. EOSC Node Slovakia is in its competence.
Roles
- EOSC-A mandated organisation for Slovakia and national coordinator of open science.
- Operator of the node: runs the portal, catalogue, monitoring, helpdesk, knowledge base and the FitSM service management system.
- Operator of the national research information systems (KOMIS: SK CRIS, SVD, SCIDAP, CREPČ, CREUČ, CRZP) that the node exposes as research resources.
- Bridge between Slovak research institutions, HPC and data providers and the EOSC Federation.
